I hope you did not expect one of those huge link farms here. After all, Win32
programming sites are few and far between. But what there is is worth a visit.
If you know of a site sporting Win32 samples, please do holler. I prefer stuff that
deals with Win32 APIs (as opposed to getting them to work in some outlandish language like
Tcl/Tk or VB), but I will consider any and all entries. My email address is at the bottom
left, or you can just use the Feedback Page.
 | Stas Khirman has a good primer on SNMP for
Win32 on his page, including the (documented) circumvention of the SNMP manager,
talking directly to the inetmib1.dll SNMP Extension Agent. |
 | Aaron Margosis, MVP, has his resumé
online; alas, the page does not have a link to his code samples directory. If you must
mess with the Net*() server and user enumeration functions, I very much recommend you stop
by Aaron's. |
 | Bill Potvin II runs Mersoft. Check out the
"Information" and "Free software" pages. |
 | Fellow MVP Thomas Woelfer has a bunch of samples plus links to his books and articles
online at www.woelfer.com. |
 | Since you are here, you may also have seen the link to Karl Peterson's One-Stop Source Shop on the home page. Many of his
samples involve Win32; if you program in VB, you may want to check the stuff out. Karl
also has a bunch of links to other interesting VB sites. Oh, and did I mention Karl's MVP
status? |
 | Mark J. Hogan of System
Management Technologies offers a sample that demonstrates the creation
of a process in a different Terminal Server session. Get
it here. |
